Overview, Responsibilities and Requirements
We're partnering with an established post-quantum cryptography and data security vendor looking to appoint a VP of Sales to lead the next phase of growth across North America.
The company is seeking a hands-on sales leader who still enjoys winning enterprise deals, building teams, and creating revenue from the ground up. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the US go-to-market strategy while directly influencing some of the largest and most strategic opportunities in the business.
The Opportunity
This is a genuine player-coach role.
You'll be responsible for driving strategic enterprise sales, developing new business opportunities, recruiting and mentoring top talent, and helping establish a high-performance sales culture.
The successful candidate will be expected to personally contribute meaningful revenue while simultaneously building and leading a team.
Key responsibilities include:
• Personally leading and closing strategic enterprise opportunities
• Building and executing the US sales strategy
• Recruiting, developing, and leading a high-performing sales organisation
• Creating pipeline through direct prospecting, networking, and market engagement
• Developing relationships with enterprise customers, partners, and key stakeholders
• Collaborating closely with executive leadership on growth initiatives
What We're Looking For
We're interested in speaking with individuals who have:
• A strong track record in cybersecurity – experience with post-quantum cryptography or data security is a bonus
• Recent experience personally closing enterprise software deals
• Experience selling into large enterprise organisations
• A history of generating their own opportunities, not simply inheriting pipeline
• Leadership experience combined with an individual contributor mindset
• The ambition and resilience required to build within a scaling environment
